Huhu's little story
At first it hid in a box and would not come out. You left a lamp on, put out a little food. The next day it ran after the mail cart the whole way, and never left. It always looks a little puzzled, so, Huhu.
Give it a name, a new little outfit. When you are down, it rests its head on your knee.

The rest of the island

Cups a glowing sprout to greet you

Followed the mail cart, never left

Slowly making a home here

Saves the prettiest bloom for you

Out at dawn, back with a pail of shells

Keeps the woods, a leaf on the brim

Calls you over when the fruit is ripe

Roasts fresh tea, waits for you

Leaves the light on for those coming home

Delivers every letter, however far
Memories
Fix a place, or let time pass, and a little story unlocks. Turn the moments you love into postcards to keep, and share.

The first lamp you lit
In a little shop on a rainy night, you lit the first lamp. After that, every place you mend and every while that passes adds another memory like this one, until they fill a whole album.

The first rose opened today, and even the wind slowed down to watch it for a long while.

The sea was so wide, but it leaned against me, and I was not afraid at all.

At low tide we stooped to look for treasures. The best of them was the little coolness left resting in my palm.

It rained the whole day, but its chin rested on the sill, and the room stayed warm the entire time.

Mist rose slowly over the tea terraces. We did nothing at all, just drank this whole afternoon down sip by sip.

We broke the snack in two. It never mattered whose half was a bit bigger, because it was always meant for you.

The rain stopped, and the treehouse lamps came on one by one, as if waiting for someone to make their way home.
Keep playing, and
your own story lands here

It wanted none of the things that came in the box, only the box itself, and fell asleep with all four paws in the air.

The branches bowed low with fruit, so we simmered a pot of jam until the whole house had gone sweet.

The lamp stayed on through the night, and it kept watch beneath it, unwilling to rest until you had fallen asleep first.

All afternoon it chased the mail cart down the path, as if that cart were carrying a letter written just for us.

When I was sad, it gently laid its head on my knee, saying not a single word, and yet it understood everything.
